Nepal is truly blessed with natural beauties and diversities. It is a landlocked country in Southern Asia, if we go through the World Map it lies between two autonomous state China and India. It contains eight of the world’s 10 highest peaks including Mount Everest, 18 world heritage listed sites and 15 commercial national parks, 850 species of birds and nearly about 200 species of animals. 35 % of the land covered is by thick tropical forests and there is abundance of white water rivers, falls and pristine lakes, lush green mountains with top to bottom greenery.
According to the map of Nepal, it has roughly trapezoidal shape, 800 kilometre (497 mi) long and 200 kilometers (124 mi) wide, with an area of 147,181 km2 (56,827 sq mi). Nepal is one of the richest countries in the world in terms of bio-diversity and within this spectacular geography is also one of the richest cultural landscapes anywhere. Due to its unique geographical position and latitudinal variation this country holds the pride of being the biggest natural museum in the world. People come to Nepal with the expectation of taking a break from their routine life or switching off from their daily chores, and that is exactly what Nepal has on offer. The rugged yet beautiful slopes of the Himalayas, the unforgiving yet gorgeous mountain terrains, and the deep yet wonderful sounds of the flowing rivers has helped strike the imaginative chord of so many poets, artists and song writers.
